PORTER SPRING WINDER - winds right or left hand extension, compression and torsion springs from 1/8 inch to 1 1/4 inch (ID) in lengths desired.
Accepts any size wire to 3/16 inch. Round, square or flat.
Pitch gauge (standard on all models) regulates coil spacing.
Pitch gauge can be disengaged to wind closed end coils.
Winder clamps onto a bench or can be held in a vise.
Cam-Lock tension release provides quick wire release and accurate size duplication.

BASIC WINDING PACKAGE: Standard with 4 mandrels sizes 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch, plus the service wrench. The original winder that has been proven in maintenance and experimental shops around the globe, including U.S. navy ships and submarines.

SERVICE WINDING PACKAGE: Standard with 6 mandrels sizes 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 inch. Is equipped with the cam lock tension release, plus 2 handles for larger and smaller diameter mandrels, 4 coils of wire and the service wrench.

DELUXE WINDING PACKAGE: Standard with 6 mandrels sizes 1/8, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 inch with cam lock tension release, 2 handles for larger and smaller diameter mandrels, service wrench and 4 1/4 lb. coils of .029, .047, .067 and .085 inch spring wire. Plus the exclusive Hook-Kon Spring Looping Tool and Multi-Power Nipper. Everything you need to wind springs is included.
